The mission is to become the greatest platform for the discovery of new talent and contribute to the United Cerebral Palsy Foundation. Over the past decade, we have seen a myriad of changes in the music industry. The days where an artist MUST be signed to a label to be successful are over. That’s not to say you shouldn’t aspire to be signed, that is still very much a dream for many artists: it’s just not as exclusive. With vast new outlets for music, the average person is exposed to more music than ever before: which in return has paved the way for DIY artist. R.M.C. recognize that by providing access, as well as education and opportunity through demo critiques, multiple panels and A & R exposure, artist will experience immediate results and going home with more than they had when they arrived. Knowledge is the key factor in bridging the gap between being good to being extraordinary! Showcasing 95% of the best unsigned talent from all over the world we have something to celebrate and we want you to be a part of it. In 2010, the Richmond Music Conference will take place mainly in downtown and other select areas of Richmond, Virginia, featuring hundreds of Showcasing Artist from all over the globe! Whether you are an artist, fan, industry professional or aspiring to start a career in the music industry, R.M.C. has something to offer everyone. Communication and information, while abundant and available,does not take the place of putting your face with your name in today’s music industry. Networking is still an important aspect of this business. For the Artist who want to be discovered and the industry that want to discover the artist, R.M.C. provides the tools that make it happen. The Richmond Music Conference is the primary music event that will continue to bring the industry executives, musicians, and music enthusiasts together!
